IHI turbocharger IS20 for 2.0 EA888 Gen.3 engines

This is the IHI IS 20 turbocharger for EA888 Gen.3 2.0L engines. You can get it from us in three variants:

1. brand new and road legal: 100% original turbocharger from IHI for EA888 2.0L TSI/TFSI/GTI Gen.3 engines (MQB) such as Golf 7 Basis, S3 and Co.
2. as Stage 1 upgrade up to 300 hp
3. as Stage 2 upgrade up to 420 hp

The scope of delivery of the original turbocharger IS20 from IHI includes the servomotor and the blow off valve. In addition, the settings have already been made at the factory and the actuator has already been calibrated and adjusted. The supplied turbocharger is therefore ready for installation. After installation, all you have to do is have fun with it!

Modified IHI IS20 turbocharger: Up to 420 hp with the Turbo-Total ® upgrade-Superchargers

Our turbocharger expert Turbo-Total ® also offers the turbocharger as upgrade. This allows you to achieve up to 300 hp in Stage 1 and up to 420 hp in Stage 2. Larger compressor wheels are used in the modified IHI turbochargers, with a cut-back turbine wheel in Stage 1 and a larger high-flow turbine wheel in Stage 2. Because more throughput also means more power, and that is precisely the aim of the upgrade turbochargers. This is why Turbo-Total also relies on reinforced hydrodynamic plain bearings and high-speed fine balancing. The compressor housing is machined CNC, and in Stage 2 the exhaust housing is also machined with high precision CNC. The result is a modified turbocharger for your 2.0 EA888 engine that is optimally tun ed and guaranteed to give you a lot of pleasure.

The modified IHI- turbocharger is also complete, including blow off valve and actuator. Everything is optimally adjusted and calibrated, so you can install the supercharger straight away. However, the software must also be optimised and there is no road approval.

Software optimisation is essential to achieve the specified engine output.
