Harmonic damper for the crankshaft suitable for all RB26DET Phase 2 engines as installed in the R33 and R34.
For the RB26DET Phase 1 motors a different Fluidampr is needed.
The standard damper has only a rubber compound, which is designed ONLY for a series engine.
The harmonic damper has a GEL filling and eliminates ALL negative vibrations that occur over the entire speed range!
Especially with tuned engines, where another crankshaft, piston or connecting rod are installed, the standard damper should be replaced by the Fluidampr.
Otherwise, at high speeds even a fracture of the crankshaft threatens!
